Take Control of Your Money: Financial Planning for Women (Workshop)

As smart and motivated women, we realize the importance of planning for our financial futures. Still, many of us put off this critical task because we lack reliable information or think we don't have the time to manage our money effectively. Tammy Plotkin-Oren, a Financial Services Professional, will demystify the financial planning process and provide some useful tools and resources to help workshop participants jump-start or fine tune their own financial plans. In her workshop, Tammy will cover an asset allocation model, explain the hows and whys of budgeting, and discuss various types of investments and insurance financially savvy women might consider.

Communication Patterns Across Genders (Workshop)

This workshop will help participants gain an understanding of the similarities and differences in communication between men and women as well as how these differences influence relationships, job performance and careers. It also addresses how to manage these differences, avoid unnecessary conflict, read nonverbal cues and work effectively in groups.

Making Choices, Taking Chances
