Jeanne Reaves, President & CEO, River City Bank
Ms. Reaves was appointed President and CEO of River City Bank in November 1997. She became the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of River City Bank in June 1993. Jeanne began her banking career with Wells Fargo Bank in 1961 as a secretary and quickly moved through the ranks to Note Department Supervisor. She joined The Bank of Alex Brown in 1983 as Vice President/Loan Administrator and was promoted successively to SVP/Loan Administrator and EVP/Loan Administrator. In 1989, The Bank of Alex Brown merged into First Interstate Bank where Ms. Reaves held the position of Vice President/Real Estate Manager before joining River City Bank in February 1990 as Senior Vice President/Credit Administrator.
Ms. Reaves holds Board of Director positions at numerous organization including Sutter Roseville Hospital, Sacramento Children's Hospital, KVIE Channel 6, The Make-a-Wish Foundation, Sacramento Light Opera Association, and Families First.
She has been the recipient of numerous awards including 1996 YWCA Outstanding Women Award, 1998 Outstanding Women Leaders Award, National Association of Women Business Owners, 1999 Girl Scout Role Model of the Year, and the June 2000 Business Journal's "Women Who Mean Business Award."

| The "Well Managed Portfolio" panel will aim to define "balance" broadly to include personal health (time to spend on good nutrition, exercise, stress reduction, etc), recreation (travel, hobbies, etc), personal relationships (including spouses/partners, friends, parents, and children), and anything else that a person may value outside of work. Panelists will share their definitions of balance, their strategies for finding balance (with pros and cons), and suggestions that students as future managers can follow to help ensure that their employees are able to enjoy balance, too. |

Never a woman to beat around the bush, Ms. Crawford made this quote famous when she refused to be typecast in Hollywood. Now in the 21st century, no woman need conform to typecasting in any profession. In this workshop, we will look at the communication strengths and challenges faces as both individuals and as women. Participants will begin to identify and enhance personal competence to project an image of confidence and power without becoming overbearing and aggressive or adopting a masculine style.
This session is based on the training used to help CEO's, celebrities, performers, and political candidates learn the power of live or media performance in creating dynamic communciation and presentations for audiences of two, or twenty, or 200!

Before her current incarnation as a communication consultant to CEO's, CFO's, CIO's, COO's and all other O's from Fortune 100 Companies, Klaus directed and produced television, theater, and film. Network shows she worked on include The Tonight Show, Cosby, and Coach. Klaus directed the original Defending the Caveman, the longest one-man show on Broadway. Paramount Studios and Warner Brothers productions are among her screen credits. Klaus has lectured at the University of California Berkeley School of Public Health & Sciences and Haas School of Business. In keynote presentations she has addressed the Financial Women's Association, American Medical Association, Professional Business Women's Conference, San Francisco Trial Lawyers Association, and Pharmacia-Upjohn among others. This workshop will explore how to start managing your money, different types of investment products and styles, where and how to seek financial advice and the value of online investment resources, among other issues. |
